This is a round flat plate made by Ryosuke Matsuo, a potter in Kyoto.
This piece exudes gentle warmth at first glance. It's perfect for serving cakes and fruit.
The tableware, which fits seamlessly into everyday life, is proof of the efforts that Matsuo has made to incorporate it into his own work through conversations with customers.
A technique that combines a white cream-like glaze with a brush-applied glaze.
By layering metal colors that come in dark brown and blue with a brush, a gradation that flows along the carved lines is created.
"Melt" refers to the flow of liquid and means to dissolve.
Matsuo's wish is embodied in this product: "The more you use it, the more it will blend into the user, and I want its gentleness to gradually seep into the user's space and hands."

*The soil is coarse and highly absorbent, so if used as is, it will absorb moisture and oil. Please seal the pores before using for the first time.
*If left in a damp state, it may cause mold or odor.
*Fine cracks may appear in the glaze, known as crazing. These may appear on the surface over time, but please enjoy them as a unique change in pottery.
*There may be some variation in color and size, but please enjoy this as part of the individuality of the dish.
