Itomomi is a navy blue embroiderer based in Kyoto.
She creates embroidered accessories that somehow lift your spirits when you incorporate them into your daily life.
Her signature work, Kogin embroidery, is a type of sashiko from the Tsugaru region in which threads are passed through the fabric in a regular pattern along the weave, filling the surface with geometric patterns.
New pieces include navy blue cross-stitch.
Each piece is painstakingly hand-sewn, and I'm in awe of the careful stitching that goes into each piece.
