Mizuki Matsuoka, who expanded her artistic expression to clay after encountering ceramics while studying sculpture.
Her formative experiences, growing up surrounded by craftsmanship with parents who ran a flower shop and a metal engraving business,
form the foundation of her current work.
Soft forms born from the potter's wheel.
A sense of familiarity as if it's an extension of the hand,
and margins intentionally not over-crafted.
