Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1969. Worked in the design department of an automobile manufacturer before visiting North America and Southeast Asia.
1997 Entered the Fukui Prefectural Ceramic Industry Training Center
1998 Studied under Shigeyoshi Morioka
2005 Built the "Hinotani Kiln" in Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture
